Hey, did you know a big dinner of sushi makes for good energy the next day? :) Hannah drove down last night and we went out for a Saturday sushi supper at Miyako's on South Memorial Parkway. The fish was excellent, really fresh and good (I had some nice sake/salmon nigiri and shared a shrimp tempura roll and a dragon roll), and overall the meal was prettily presented and tasty. It was also a very nice mommy-daughter time. :)

Felt good out running today. I did the Point Mallard trail (6 miles), plus 2 miles, and an out and back of the bike path between Point Mallard and Rhodes Ferry Parks (7 miles). A good long workout, but I don't feel absolutely drained or pushed to my limits.

blood & ice cream

A series of 3 films (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and an as-yet unreleased 3rd film provisionally entitled At World's End) from Simon Pegg/Nick Frost and Edgar Wright is called the Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy or Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy.

Each film features a small reference to Cornettos, with the color of the Cornetto wrapper symbolizing an aspect of the plot. Strawberry Cornetto (red packet) in the first film and Original Cornetto (blue packet) featured in the second. The third film is expected to include Mint Cornetto (green packet).

fyi: Pegg and Frost are also starring in a geeky sf comedy entitled "PAUL" (with Seth Rogen voicing an alien character, I believe) due out next year.
