Did a 9/11 related book display at the library today.

Was inspired in part by a recent patron (elderly Southern lady) who was politely, respectfully, and openmindedly searching for information about Islam/Muslim religion, which I was quite happy to help her locate in our collection.

Nice to be reminded that not all out library patrons are crazy (or intolerant).

today

C met me at the library and she & I went walking for 3 miles at lunch time. We're planning to go have Thai food for dinner and then meet Barry to see a movie this evening.

Got sprinkled on during the walk, but it was just a nice little sun shower. It's pouring and thundering now.

I have had 5 people comment on my RED hair today. 4 were complementary and one was "OMG, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO YOURSELF?!!"
