Ready to "Run, Leela, Run"
I surprised myself by being able to run a decent race pace (as Leela) in the local "Spooktacular 5k" Saturday morning, finishing in 30:50 (smack dab in the middle of the field of 600 runners). Not bad considering I was carrying props, had limited vision wearing the mask, and my wig wouldn't stay on while running! lol. Darn it tho; I also managed to get a blister on my left foot just in this short distance! However, maybe my blistered foot then helped with maintaining a proper reanimated limp and shuffle at the Zombie Walk the next day on Halloween afternoon . :)
It was a good Tricks & Treats weekend. :)
