Still working on Suzi-Rose

Previous ref pic New pic--adjustmenet made and body done!
Unless you look close, I bet you can't even tell, but I spent almost all day yesterday (except for an hour when I went out and had a very nice walk with Renee) working on Suzi-Rose.
I improved the proportions by shortening the neck and completely remaking the head (making it smaller and giving it a tilted pose). I also finished sewing the sleeve trim on the blouse, put together the embellished headband; and did some work on the wig too, although it won't be final until I actually sew the wig to the head after doing the face.
Since I redid the head, that means I have a "spare" to do a test run for my learning curve on creating the facial features! Hope my book arrives soon, as the face is all that is needed to finish Suzie-Rose! In the meantime, I'll make a few sketches of faces.
I am also preparing to start on doll #2-- Paisley the tattooed lady. Have all my paisley print fabrics ready. Lol--actually a couple extra too; there were 2 or three that just didn't seem to go with the others in colour or particular pattern, So, iinto the stash they go. Have all the pattern pieces ready too.
