Book #8
8) Zevin, Gabrielle. ELSEWHERE. Square Fish/Farrar, Straus and Giroux: 2005.
A nicely written YA, coming of age, novel with a twist. The protagonist is Liz, a teenger who was killed in an accident while riding her bike to the mall. ELSWHERE is an interesting imagining of a possible afterlife scenario. One enters "Elsewhere" at the age of death, "lives" a lifetime in reverse (in a well conceived afterlife culture), aging backwards to be reborn on Earth as a baby again.
