the last thing I bought

I'm avoiding shopping today (well, we do have to get Josette some more kitten chow, but I don't have to go anywhere near a mall for that), but I did make a major purchase yesterday!

And, no, it wasn't another pair of running shoes.

lol..I know, B & I just got engaged a week ago and haven't even set a date yet, but I bought my wedding dress. :)

I've always loved these kind of dreamy frothy vintage froufrou dresses. Was nice to have a reason to indulge myself and buy one (and thanks to a bonus at work, the money to afford it.) I like the idea of wearing a pretty cupcake of a dress, something that has a secret history, and that is at least as old as I am.

I should just be able to squeeze fit the waist (with a corset assist), or can figure out how to alter it, or spend more gym time altering myself. :)

It's adorable, but please get a proper petti, that hoop they display it with looks strange. I'll bet it will be easier to alter, seam allowances were bigger in the 50's and 60's.

I agree about the hoop; yes, I'll get/have a better petticoat. :)
