Just another list post.
Finished washing ALL the dirty dishes.
Had a nice phone chat with Hannah.
Took a shower. (Uugh, I needed that.)
Mostly worked on my boudoir doll; she's going to be a Victorian era girl in frillies. Sorted through my fabric stash and pulled out all the remaining remnants of white, ivory, and cream fabric and lace. Considering also cutting into a pale peach sheer nightgown I can't really wear anymore.
Reworked the doll body; I didn't redo the entire torso pattern this time, just added appliquéd hip pads and stuffed where needed to round out the hips and butt.
Reworked boot and leg pattern; am using ivory shantung silk for the boots with pearl bead buttons; have one leg sewn and stuffed, and the other ready to stuff and assemble.
Freehanded a pattern for doll sized Victorian bloomers. Sewed them out scraps of eyelet lace from an old costume pair of my size Victorian bloomers! Added more lace from beaded trim salvaged from a wedding dress-- which I'd turned into a Corpse Bride gown on another old project. (Sigh; which I never even really fucking wore!!! Sold it on Ebay for a decent price tho.)
This is definitely a bit and pieced project.
