I am starting to go back and pull all my anatomy themed entries together into some sort of more cohesive essay. (Darn it and why didn't I bother to use subject Tags before?)

So there isn't really anything new at all to this post. I need to just go compose in a Word document, and leave my LJ for more timely information and content (except I've gotten used to the occasional feedback fix of sharing my process).

This current entry explains and references where I got the inspiration for my anatomy tattoo.

I'm so jazzed right now; it's gonna be a long wait until next month!

Took a folder with my sketch and some references over to the tattoo shop. Had a nice chat and got things planned out with Greg Ross, who is going to be my tattoo artist. He is a cool guy and a good artist; check out his portfolio at http://www.thebluerosetattoo.com/tattoos.html ! He also quoted a very reasonable price ($240), so for once I'll actually be able to afford what I want. We're going to go somewhere between realistic and traditional tattoo style, with rich vivid colors. Also enjoyed talking with the girl working the counter; she really liked my tattoo design--especially since she is in nursing school right now.

My options for body placement (considering the ink I already have and needing a fairly large flat space) are either upper left back (shoulder blade area) or outer left thigh. I already have other work on my lower center back and right upper shoulder, nothing on my left leg. Opinions?

Did you know Francoise Riviere/Andreas Martens did a story " The Spitzner Museum's Wax Woman" in the Heavy Metal Taboo Special, Spring 2001?
