sharing anatomy stuffs
Apr. 17th, 2008 11:10 amYay for anatomy blogs!
I got a mention in a recent Morbid Anatomy post, as I've been emailing the blog author and sharing random stuff with her.

She also did a good post about a current museum exhibit in California featuring one of Susini's 18th century Anatomical Venus wax models. I was able to snag a good quality color photo reference, detailing the viscera, to take to my tattoo artist!
http://streetanatomy.com/blog/ has an interesting current post featuring a clip from a new Madonna video showing the anatomy of kissing.
I've recently added several more scans and photos to my imagecave album http://usera.imagecave.com/cloverr/Anatomy_tattoo/ There is some day of the dead cute stuff and some old magazine photo clippings (circa 10 years ago) I'd saved of very unique, umm, reproductive anatomy tattoos.
As a research addict and library type person, I'm feeling a bit dodgy and concerned as to "fair use" of available images. Yes, I've saved LOTS of pics from online while web surfing, and I'm bad about keeping tabs on the source references. It's mostly for my own reference (visual file) use though, or sharing with other folks with quirky interests, --but I'm not claiming anything as my own work or using it for any sort of profit. Still feel I need to look for guidelines and netiquette as far as copy right and respecting other's intellectual property.
