I've moved from thinking of my doll all in white to thinking of her with redwork.

I have been working this morning on mapping out threaded veins and arteries and stumpwork embroidery for a heart. A circulatory system more suggestive than anatomically correct, a fanciful design unfurling across her chest.

I'm not sure this inside-out anatomy conceit will work, but I'll give it a try to see what the effect is.
