local help?

I'm wanting to buy a table and bookcase that the library (where I work) is selling cheap, and was wondering if I could beg the assistance of someone local with a pickup truck? I'd gladly pay for the gas (to Decatur and back) and make the usual social offer of a meal afterwards. Hoping to be able to do this on Saturday or Sunday, but I suppose an evening would work too.

It sure would be nice to be able to get the rest of my books up off the floor in my apartment, and I could also get on the good side of karma and give my ex back his table.
