Monday

It was a fairly mundane Monday, but let's see what was good...

-got my walk in before the rain started.
-received a couple holiday cards from friends.
-emailed a couple of friends and family members (trying to stay in contact more often).
-started reading a new novel (post Apocalypse fiction, one of my favorite genres, and the story is set in Alabama 40 years in the future.)
--indulged an appropriate nibble of some yummy homemade pecan brittle candy (lol; the breakroom at holiday time is testing and tempting my willpower).

lovely.....but I really could sew one up myself relatively easily, and then detail/embellish it with flair and originality. (am still thinking about altering the tailed tuxedo coat I have, or could just do a short corset shrug like in the link)

Kinda want to do this before (hopefully) being an extra in the Pine Hill Haints "Screaming Jenny" video shoot in January. It would be sweet to have a totally complete costume ensemble pulled together.

--Some of the Flying Monkey folks have been repeatedly encouraging me to do more of my doll/puppet work.

--Possibility of designing pasties or costuming work for Magic City Sirens burlesque.

--A friend wants to commission me to craft some decorative leatherwork/toys for her

--Suzie was going to commission a fursuit partial (head and tails) from me, but that project is most probably going to have to be placed on hold for a while.

--however, have been thinking about sewing a kimono to send to Brianna (this is an unfinished project from before; now would be a good karma time to finish it, and I already have the brocade)

What to do and where to start?

2.25 miles walk. NO sunshine today; drizzly and foggy. Do I earn points for still getting out and making a small effort?
