found object art for sleeping beauties

While I'm hoping this will ultimately lead to more posts of FINISHED artwork, I've decided to quit feel guilty about posting on as-yet-undone and work-in-progess projects. Instead, I'm going to embrace this potential ephemera and my art of intent...

How's that for an interesting photo art of the shabby chic?

Anyway, I'm looking for an over large ornate frame to put it in, to be matted with a wide border of coordinating quilt-tufted material and put in assemblage with one or more small dolls in odalisque* or post mortem memorial * poses...

I guess I'm continuing to work/obsess serially on a "vanitas" theme.

*Odalisque - A female slave or concubine in the harems of the Middle East. The odalisque was a favorite subject of nineteenth century European artists, sometimes called orientalists, and was depicted as a reclining nude or semi-nude in typically Turkish surroundings.
