tuesday food

1/2 avacado
1 banana
1/2 c Starbucks light mocha
1c ice
Not bad either. You wouldn't have thought the little unblended flecks of banana would make a difference, but did seem to me to interfere with the smoothness of the shake just a bit. (but then, I can be picky about liking or disliking some food textures.) Still, I like bananas and here it added another healthy serving of fruit. I guess I am also a real coffee fiend; I quite enjoy the slight hint of mocha combined with the other flavors :)
One of the Friends of the Library brought in a whole table full of snacky foods for the staff breakroom. LOL! Thanks but no thanks? There's not a healthy choice in the lot of cookies, chips, dips, etc.... Fortunately, I seem to be in a good space today and nothing is really tempting me.
Besides, (also helping me to keep up my resolve in my quest of "passing for thin") I've got a reputation to uphold now; folks at work expect me to refrain from most of the sugar snacks.
