2.5 mile walk and talk at lunch. Easy day, so maybe I can trick myself into having some kick for the 10k race tomorrow. (race is at 8 am at Monte Sano State Park; I'm going to have to remember to set my alarm and get up early enough)
Lol...I have a friend who keeps encouraging me to go out there and WIN....ummm, thanks for cheering me on, but let's get real. I'm going out to have a good time and a nice social run, but a)I'm not overly competitive and b)I'm old and slow. ;)
Book #57
57) Waters, Sarah. THE LITTLE STRANGER. Riverhead Books: 2009.
I miss the Victorian settings and characters of her first books (like TIPPING THE VELVET), but this was still a nicely written atmospheric "ghost" story.
Oh, think I may stop in at World Conspiracy when I head back into town after the race tomorrow and check out their sale t-shirts. May also volunteer myself to help with the Zombie Walk; hey, maybe they'd want a theme cake for the after walk party? I could have fun with that!
