Today I am wearing a Tibetan made tanktop, brightly dyed cotton patchwork, seams sewn outward, embellished with painted folk art designs. I bought it at a little shop on Haight street in San Francisco. :) Purple cardigan over it. Teal silk and maroon jacquard layered skirts below. And my pink Newton sneakers to "match".
Am considering gettting a "Buddha eyes" design for my next tattoo (when I can) as a reminder of mindfulness and in connection with my sister.
And appropos of nothing, I was searching at work today for a geneaology request. I didn't find the obit I was looking for in the July 1939 issues of the Decatur Daily, but there was a short aricle about a young woman who died of starvation (aka anorexia), having eaten nothing but "lollipops and lemonade" for several years previous. As well as a notice about a bear wrestling exhibition...
