AND JJ texted me with the news he and Tammy are now engaged.

Feel free to smirk and roll your eyes; yes, I've had a number of boyfriends, interests, relationships,and multiple marriages during my adult life. It's kept life interesting, and my heart is still open.

Seriously, I DO believe in remaining as amicable as possible and being friends with exes (and I guess that shows). :)

But it does make me rather aware and thoughtful (note: lonely sometimes, but not unhappy or profoundly depressed by any means) of my currently single status.

3.5 mile run during my lunchhour. Lol... I'll be doing A LOT of loops in Delano Park in another few weeks, but today it was just a couple circuits!

Am pondering another running tattoo. Since my daughter considers my long distance running crazy, I thought maybe something with a "running with scissors" theme might be fun and fitting. Not sure if it should be a pin-up runner girl holding a large pair of scissors or a set of anthropomorphic legged shears... Hey, Running With Scissors would be a literary tattoo as well (re, one of my shortlisted favorite books, Augusten Burrough's memoir), and could also reference sewing/crafting themes.
