brief race report
May. 16th, 2010 02:30 pm I was a directionally impaired ditz, misread our driving directions, and missed yesterday's marathon start by nearly 40 minutes!!
(So, Barry got to see me in full out stress anxiety mode.)
I was SO glad the race officials then checked me in, gave me my race number and allowed me start off on my own late.
And while my official clock time looks way slow, I managed 6:25 on my watch.
Am happy enough with that AND that I wasn't the very last finisher even with my late start.
Took me a while to get over my mad/stress and get into the run, but I did enjoy the (very) hilly trails.
All's well that ends well.
