I'm contemplating getting an audio book (and or some music) to listen to over the night hours of the race, but Barry teasing me that I'd probably get distracted by the story and wander off the race course....

brief

Had a very nice 12 miles of Monte Sano trails on the 24th, in particular Goat Trail and Stone Cuts. B & I went around town to deliver presents to our friends (and to see Martha in the hospital), and then had a nice dinner out.

Woke up to snow on Christmas. Enough that there were some local road closings and travel advisories. So, I spent a lazy warm day in bed with Barry and didn't drive north to Hannah's til later the next day.

B. gave me a fun assortment of stocking stuffer type presents. Some pretty glass beads, a perfume bottle and some lovely scent (cinnamon orange oil), a container of medjool dates, some toesock running socks, a book, and an ugly zombie character warped rubber duckie.

Had a day late holiday cooking for my daughter dinner at Hannah and Ken's. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, corn bread.
