Isn't this just the perfect Fitz & Floyd plate for a (mostly) vegetarian to eat off of? :)

B. bought it for me when we went antiquing yesterday. (Yes, I know, F&F ceramics are contemporary collectibles)

Tonight, I served myself a wonderful salad of fresh spinach and greens, chickpeas, tabouli, cucumbers and greek yogurt; along with a slice of sundried tomato & basil artisan Bread.

LOL...when I was sharing my new kitschy kitchen fascination with a coworker, she and I agreed at that a similar majolica style "meat platter" would just be gross! (And, of course, now B. has taken up the challenge and is determined to find such a carnivore themed creation.)
