Sunday blahs
Dec. 14th, 2014 09:33 amWorking on a slap-dash craft project this morning, am making a cat bed/snuggle sack for Gaz. Repurposed a soft thrift sweater and some snuggly fleece and a foam chair cushion to make kind of a kitty cave. Rats...broke the sewing machine needle and I can't find any extras of the correct gauge around the house; so, going to try to finish it up by hand. I'm not feeling well and don't feel like going out shopping or out of the house at all.
Spent most of yesterday sleeping. Puny cold sysmptoms, but yesterday's sore throat is accompanied by an ear ache today. :( Also feeling depressed; I watched some of the Rocket City Marathon runners yesterday, and wished I was out there instead of feeling like a failure. The new course took runners past the Space and Rocket Center, I could watch from across the highway at the corner of Old Madison and Wynn. But it was a depressing metaphor--seperated by space and not really part of things. And I'm feeling too under the weather to even go out for a walk at the moment.
