L) Finished Audrey 2 purse (added applique on planter, fake fur grass and a bloom on the vine strap). Probably should go back one more time and put another round of securing stitches, so it's sturdy enough to actually use as a purse.
R) Bob wig with flytrap fascinator (picks up accents and motifs from purse). Have ordered some birdcage veiling to add on if it arrives in time before the Comic and  Pop Culture Expo.

Torso for Paisley crazy patchwork doll. Am adding more embellishement to this, going full out crazy on it, with patchwork, seam embroidery, and applique. :) At least I've moved from 2 to 3D with this project; and can start the piecework for the arms and legs now. Doll witll probably end up about 2/3 lifesize; the crazy patchwork done over a backing fabric makes the form a little firmer with less stretch or give--still can get a nice shape though.

Not feeling real well these days, Still have a last bit of respitory/sinus congestion hanging on. Current antidepressant meds working (in that I don't feel totally bottomed out), but not working well. I'm not happy with last add-on.Gives me weird tweaks and sparks; like when I'm at all startled, my heart skips a beat; Sleeping too much. Having to "fight" to stay productive.

Adding to my stress, my car crapped out on me last Thursday. I was able to pull it off the road and into a parking lot, but then had to pay to have it towed home from Decatur. B had been trying to fix it over this weekend, but no good results; so far, we've suspected and then ruled out it being the sensors (replaced), the battery (replaced) or the battery cables. Now thinking it may be waterpump and or timing belt. (Yeayh like I know what I'm talking about). But B may be at the end of his mechanical tether, and Russ says it's beyond what he could do in a driveway repair, and so I guess I'll be getting it towed to a shop and then paying through the nose to get it fixed. KInd of a purple lemon, since i've only had the car for 6 months. Drove B's old Saturn into work today; I'm surprised that bucket of bolts is still running itself--but I should be grateful it is. Working alternate day/nights, we can both get to work with one car, but not ideal at all in the long term.

Guess I'm doing my share on household upkeep--had to pay the property taxes; there went a chunk of money too. AH well, it's just money. More to life than that.
