Here's my brooch of the day, which I am wearing with an "I VOTED" sticker.

Took about an hour at the polls this morning to stand in line to cast my balllot for the first female President of the United States, at least I hope she will be by the time the dust settles. It's a historic event. It's been an awful election season, and neither Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump would have been my first choice (of Bernie Sanders), but she did get the Democratic nomination and it is a vote for women and against Trump. And that's about all I'm going to say about politics.

Have blown way too much money on jewelry this past couple of weeks; was on a real manic spending binge.That's stopping. (I think I may use my savings to pay off the credit card and then NOT use it for a good long while, and stay off ebay.) Am looking forward to completing my brooch display board and hanging it in the living room to show off all my pretty sparklies.
