See my new earrings? They are by Louise Black (designer of my beloved ribcage cameo corset). I'm happily wearing these funky cool vintage bisque babydoll arms and pearl beads today.



I'm not usually much of a fan of "reality tv" series (ask Hannah how much eye rolling I was doing while she was subjecting me to too much Gene Simmons Family Jewels last night), but I may have to give the upcoming season of Project Runway a look. Ms. Black is one of the contestant/designers.

The weekend before last, I was in the upper peninsula of Michigan and found "The Craft Store That Time Forgot" (packages of supplies from 30-35 years ago, with that era's pricing). In retrospect, I should have bought more bisque doll parts (I snagged one pack because I was more mesmerized by the 1970s incarnations of 1890s bits). Shoulda bought more overall...
