Running Brag
WOW..15 more minutes of fame...I currently hold the official USATF state record for (female in my age group) 50 miles!
Lol..I KNOW this record won't last or stand for long; it's just a fluke of my current age and the small database of women in Alabama competing in 50 mile events. I'll never be fast enough to snag and hold onto the age 50 record next year, but I'm sure *grinning* about this now! I was so psyched and surprised when the organizer of the Delano Park Run emailed me with these results.

Also, noteworthy to me, I logged 44 miles total last week-- and started the new week with a good feeling 19 mile run for my workout this morning!
