silly stuff

I'm going to make a mascot plush of the "Rare, Elusive Northern Alabama Trail Sloth" to accompany me to my races.
Envisioning a shaggy chimera of a creature: part sloth, part mountain goat, with an adorable slightly anthropomorphic face*, running shoes on her back feet, long sloth claws on her front, maybe with curving mountainsheep horns on her head.
(Once again, I had somebody comment that I'm like a little mountain goat on the trails when I just keep plucking my way along on the uphills, but I feel the sloth is more naturally my totem animal.)
I liked this lyrical mention on a nature site about sloths that they "subsist on leaves and raindrops."
Did you know sloths sometimes appear green tinged as algae grows on their coat? Maybe I'll have found a use for that obnoxious avocado green silky shag fur fabric I have...

*Lol..I just impuse Ebay-ed this old teletubbie item, which I am going to alter into my mascot. Look at the teletubby doll and then at the following link of the baby sloth and tell me they don't have a similarly cutesy face?
