Thursday morning

--Still no sign of my janie-cat.
--Posted Lost Cat flyers at apartment complex
--85 minute/4 mile walk. Rest day off yesterday.
--Picked up package at office--My ebay accordion is here! Rats, didn't have time to unpack it though before heading into work. Guess I can take a look at lunchtime; at least that's something to look forward to today.

Off Key and Lovin' It

Enough with the pity-party. I've just been having a few rough days, what with losing my cat, coming home to an empty apartment and being all the more lonely.

Remembered how to smile this evening though. I've been sitting here in my living room for the last forty minutes or so making my secondhand squeezebox squawk. :)

It's old, it's worn; I'm glad I didn't pay any more than I did for it, but this little antique accordion makes me happy.

I don't know enough to do anything about restoring it's innards, but I can give it a face lift, starting with some new straps. Am undecided about leaving it to age gracefully, as it is quite pretty as is, or if I want to give it a gaudy vivid paint job.
