This is what I've eaten for the past two days' dinner: ovenfried sweetpotato wedges, sprinkled with seasoning salt and paprika, over thinly sliced vadalia onions (a whole onion) which has been sauteed in butterflavored cooking spray, all messed together in a serving bowl with a couple tablespoons of tomato catsup and a dash of malt vinegar.... lol, I'm not sure I'd serve this concoction to anyone else; but, for a veggie-full solo dinner, it's yummy to me!

LOL...I just realized I'm on a Summer BBQ binge! If you read the comments, note that I went carnivore a few days ago and enjoyed a pork barbeque sandwich at Dreamland. (and at the restaurant, I waxed wistfully lyrical to my lunch companion about my mother's stellar homemade barbeque sauce recipe.)

Look at the ingredients (excepting the sweetpotato) and spices used in my supper dish....another friend pointed it out to me, it's BBQ!

I always said that barbeque was one of the few reasons why I could never be totally vegetarian....but maybe I was mistaken. :)

"Kate, Sawyer and Juliet made a formidable threesome...Sigh. Couldn't they all have moved to Juniper Creek on Big Love or the Oprah-endorsed Yearning for Zion Ranch to be polygamistically happy and gorgeous together?"
