get Lost, I'm busy tonight (fangirling)

I'll be watching the season finale of LOST!

The final episode of the fifth season of Lost will air Wednesday, May 13, 2009, on ABC. Starts at 7 pm with a recap show followed by the finale.

Loyal viewers of Lost, which features beautiful people in awful situations on a time traveling island, know the set-up for this final episode. Half of the regular cast is in 1977 and the others are in 2007. Both teams are on journeys that may very well mark the end of everything, for everyone. But then again, it has to. Lost will be ending at the end of its sixth season next year. It's time to wrap up plotlines and character stories and it's time to start wrapping up early for some.

Whatever your source of information about Lost or its finale, the best place to be is in front of your television on Wednesday night...

I've been commissioned to bake and decorate a cake for the Booster party at RCFM in a couple weeks. http://www.rcfm.net/ Since it it the 7th year for this furry con, their theme is a western one: ala the gunslinger movie "Magnificent Seven".

I have been annoying brodycatsmouth by bouncing ideas off of him. ;) But I think we've struck on a plan for the dessert...

A 7-Up flavored carved poundcake in the fondant covered shape of a steer skull, sitting on a cinnamon sugared desert Texas chocolate sheetcake. :) I'm such a concept geek...I love making the flavors fit as part of the theme too! I guess a longhorn skull isnt exactly "furry", but it does provide some sort of animal related link.
