Me and my friends

Dana and Noelle were kind enough to send me a couple of snaps from the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot run. Both these ladies are SPARKFRIENDS of mine; Noelle is local and Dana lives in Tuscaloosa. BTW, I'm planning to run a leg of a marathon relay team (February's Mercedes Marathon in Birmingham) with Dana and some of her friends; that should be fun and something different.

THANKS SIS!!!

This is as close as I am going to get to that "Little Kid on Christmas Morning" feeling of excitement and anticipation....

UPS left my sister's package at the apartment manager's office ysterday; I picked it up there this morning, but didn't have time before work to tear into it. So...I'm going to be anticipating secondhand, retro, vintage clothing delights all day til I can get home to play dress up!!!

Btw, I've got the Dicken's Faire (circa 1860) bonnet project all planned out now and will get the rest of the materials needed for it after payday on Thursday. Will craft it up this weekend, and am thinking I may just make up two bonnets--one for both us twins.

lol..for someone who is a holiday grinch, I am doing some seasonal projects-- the costuming for my sister, a paid cake order for a coworker, and another cake to take to party on Saturday. I'm off work on Friday, but it's going to be a busy day in the kitchen and at the craft table (and hopefully get a decent run in then too)!
