Uggghhh...that's a crawling average of 18 minute miles! Guess this was more of a hike than a run, but it was still a good experience on the trials! I shouldn't let myself get bummed out by the numbers game.
*sigh* the only way I'm going to get any faster on trails is to DO MORE trails! :)

My local friend Mona took a tumble during the race and it turns out she fractured a rib! And, Holy Cow!, she STILL finished 15 minutes faster than I did! Another running friend, Margaret, ran her first 100 miler over the weekend (at Umstead). I am humbled, inspired and impressed!
