So, last week I went to the dentist (and got a broken tooth extracted).
Today, I called a local gynecologist and made an appointment for next Monday afternoon. *sigh* It's probably nothing, but I'm spotting and cramping again.(Post menopause) Second time in the last few months; first time was slight and only lasted a day, but this time was heavy enough I needed to use pads. Paranoid me also wonders if my recent fuzzy memory/mindedness and tiredness may be part of the same wonked hormones?
I guess it's a "good" thing I ended up getting the tooth pulled, rather than the more expensive root canal I was going to have done if the tooth hadn't shattered, because the gyn visit (annual exam and a couple tests) will cost me $250. Not having medical insurance sucks, but at least I have money in the bank at the moment.
Want to stay healthy so I can keep running and work my way up to doing that 100+ miler this year. :) The registration for Across The Years has opened (and I have decided that is the race for me!); I want to commit to this event and sign up soon(before the end of March when the fee goes up). Think I may wait till March 10th though--as a carrot on a stick to put forth a good effort at the Delano 12 Hour that day.
Sat. 5K race and 1 mile fun run/walk
Sun. 6.25 mile run to the gym and 3.75 mile speed intervals on arc trainer
Mon. 2 mile walk at break time
