In case you couldn't tell by the relative lull in posting, it's been another dismal week of straying/staying off track with not enough exercise (4 days of minimum miles totaling 15; only one gym session) and too much holiday eating. Moods got to me and I binged and over ate. Stupid cold was still hanging on as well.

Starting over... think I'll log my weeks Sunday thru Saturday, as my next batch of upcoming events are mostly Saturday races.

so....
Sunday 13 miles
Monday 5 miles

Hey, on the good side, my hamstring seems to be recovered. (I injured it a month ago) Didn't even wear the thigh sleeve on yesterday's longish run. And I also think I'm "over" that winter cold.

Now, I just have to find my mojo, get my groove back, and rededicate myself to my goals.

It's good to have plenty of rest, especially when you are feeling like shit. So, don't see it as a bad thing. Plus, you eating for the holidays is good, too. It will help you maintain some balance and level out missing calories.

Entropy does indeed win in the end. That's neither a reason to not fight it, nor a reason to beat yourself up too much over it. ;)

Sounds like you're back in training and that's what counts.
