it sure was a MONDAY at the library:

--patron boldy sat down at a staff desk and plugged her laptop computer into the power outlet.

--a disgruntled patron called one of our employees a "mexican illegal" (Bhakti's Indian and a US citizen).

--woman complained that her entry wasn't displayed prominently enough in the quilt show.

--couple teenagers got a bit boisterous at the computers. had to be "Shhhhed" a couple times, but I lost it and went into "mother mode" when one kid decided to sit with his butt on the back of the chair and his feet on the seat...

Lol....personally, I think the library needs to hire B. as security. He could walk around giving folks that cold dead-eye Dominant stare of his when they misbehave. Besides, then I could go run off in the stacks with him every so often for a smooch; which would definitely improve my workday. :)

BTW, B. is a great guy! Over the weekend, he bought me a pair of warm, comfy, and cute fleece sleep pants (kitschy halloween black cats on orange novelty print) to lounge around in, and today he paid my registration fee for the upcoming Mountain Mist 50K trail race. Doubt I'll wear the pjs to run in tho....

Also...I got to see Cal Foxx for dinner on Saturday evening. His truckdriving route brough him through town, dropping off a load of Legos at Target and picking up cat food at the Meow-Mix plant. It was really nice to visit and catch up!

This was the trail I did my recent 50 miler on. Someone else refered to it in their blog not as the "Georgia Jewel" but as the "Georgia Cruel". Yeah, that kind of was my experience too... here's a link to my race report: http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4504742
