I'm having my morning computer and coffee time here at Hannah's apartment, after sleeping on her couch, after staying up late finishing Desmond's White Rabbit costume, before driving back to AL and be at work for my usual Monday 11-8 shift.

I have got to come visiting MORE often! Desmond is such a charmer and he's changing so much every time I see him. Becoming more and more verbal too. High points were his laughing in delight at the twinkling stars his nightlight cast onto the walls of his darkened room, watching him "help" with vacuuming the living room carpet, and when he was running around wearing a domino half-mask and brandishing a plastic prop machete (btw, his Daddy also gave him a Michael Myers doll!)

Took me all day to finish the Halloween costume, and it wouldn't win me any prizes for being an expert seamstress, but it might win a kid's costume contest. :) The little coat sewed up cute, and I'm happy to have finally used up most of the red velveteen I've had lying around for years. I'm not so happy at having had to use what must be the cheapest fake fur ever for the bunny pants and ears, or with the fact that the (vest front decorated) t-shirt was one size too large and so is a bit baggy, but it's worn under the coat anyway. Ken went thrift store shopping and then was showing off his Mad Hatter outfit as well, and Hannah was moaning about the Halloween store only having "slutty" women's costuming and what she had to do to make her Red Queen costume more family fare.
