Current weight 122.6 lbs (no change from last week)

My size 8 jeans are baggy.

I'm having to tuck and pin the waist of some of my favorite skirts.

I'm having to remember to get my race t-shirts in a size SMALL.

34-27*-36

*I can lace my 24" corsets comfortably nearly closed.

Sometimes this feels good; sometimes not. I can't afford to keep buying new clothes. I have no boobs. I'm looking more and more like my mother. I worry about if I'll be able to maintain this weight and be healthy.

This is the same weight as when I ran my first marathon at age 22.

67)Powers, Kim. CAPOTE IN KANSAS: A GHOST STORY. Carroll & Graf Publishers: 2007

I was a bad bookworm and didn't read TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD for our Library's recent BIG READ (I have read the novel several times in the past and had read it the previous year for Huntsville's Big Read). But I did read this rather interesting piece of "historical" fiction, the main characters being Truman Capote, Nelle (Harper) Lee, and the ghosts of the IN COLD BLOOD murdered Clutter family.

3 mile jog at lunch. I stopped at Walgreens on the way back and bought a Clif protein bar and a V-8. Scarfed this as my lunch and went on jogging.

What you say...eating and running???

LOL...while I am usually able to "chew gum and walk" at the same time, I can't actually eat and run. I have to slow down to a walking pace so I can chew and swallow without either choking or just spilling/wearing all my gatorade. But,Yep, it's part of my ultra training; I can get by with gatorade and maybe some Gu or one protein booster snack during a marathon race, but the longer runs are going to require even more refueling along the way. So, I'm getting used to eating on the move now.

Heard back from the writer/editor at Runner's World; they asked me to send along any high resolution photos I have of my tattoo. Of course, I only had one decent saved image of it, so I asked some friends for help in that department. One of my Decatur friends snapped a few pics at lunch today (my fav below), and JJ graciously agreed to take a few more tonight. Really just need some clean close ups of the one particular tattoo and maybe a casual portrait shot showing ink. Will send off whatever looks best to the magazine and see what (if anything) gets used.

Damn. Maybe it's NOT totally impossible for me to get a GOOD photograph.

Thanks JJ & "Wendy"!!! (and Brenna too; I was smiling at her antics in this one.)
